The Fallen Heroes Statue is installed, but we've only just begun!

All the profits from last year's Don't Be A Weaksauce Golf Classic (2016) benefitted the construction of the Fallen Heroes Gardens, Phase 1 of the future Walton County Veterans Memorial Park.  A $5,000.00 check was presented to the Veterans Memorial Foundation in September of 2016. While significant progress has been made, the Memorial Gardens is far from complete. The Fallen Heroes Memorial has been moved from inside the courthouse to an unfinished pedestal in the garden, but the pedestal still needs to be laminated and the names of our Walton County Heroes, both military and civil service, have yet to be engraved. Profits from this year's event will benefit both the Lt Helton Schooarship fund and the continuing work on the Fallen Heroes Gardens.
