In 2024 I was invited out to watch a USAFA Football game by Thudgate, a group that holds a much sought-after pre-game Tailgate party. It was so much fun, and such a pleasure making so many new friends who have such big hearts. Well, maybe they de-friended me when they discovered the Thudgate pics were no longer on our webpage (happened when an unrequested web hosting change was made while I was out of country). During their Tailgate Party, they presented the Foundation with a donation that totaled just over $1,400.00. Thanks to Ken Hilte who was generous enough to forward pics. And, while I am generally judicious in posting pics of other people, he made the decision easy - I get to post them all, with a few extras he wanted to share!

I couldn't make it out last year, but things are in the works to make it again this year, hopefully with some family!

My experience has shown that as a Gold Star family member it is a salve to the soul when a moment can be shared with new friends who experienced a similar curve ball in their history. Enjoy the pics!
